Description
Chair Arne Jacobsen AJ_14 - Metal Frame, Beechwood Schell
Arne Jacobsen 1955
- 100% Made in Italy -
The most popular and widespread among chairs designed by Arne Jacobsen belongs to one of the most fertile aspects of his research. Three years behind the "Ant", it was designed at the same time as other models such as stacking chairs 3103, 3123 and "Tongue". Formal research conducted over the years by Jacobsen, along with an attempt to refine the comfort of its new seating models, will lead the author to rework the theme of the chair with plywood shell and metal tubular base through other rear models: the "Grand Prix" of 1957 and the "Seagull" stackable chair, designed in 1969, which can be considered the point of arrival of this experiment.
Inspired by the Arne Jacobsen project of 1955 the stackable chairs is available with chromed frame fixed at the shell through screws. Laquered screw covering. PVC feet. Wooden shell available in different colours.
Availability:
chromed frame;
