Chair Eileen Gray EG_54 - Metal Frame, Bonded Leather Seat
Eileen Gray 1926

The chair is clearly visible in the photographs of Tempe à Pailla, the designer’s home in Castellar, in the south of France, where it was used in the lacquered version as a chair for the terrace. It is not certain whether it was conceived as part of the project for Villa E 1027 in Roquebrune that Eileen Gray designed with Jean Badovici between 1927 and 1929. It associated an extreme formal simplicity with a deep constructive complexity.
Inspired by the 1926 Eileen Gray project, the chair is supplied is manufactured with high resistance cold rolled tube mm 20x2, polished and chromed at 26 micron.
Hide elements can be in full grain (shoulder) or standard (crust).
Seat with 8 mm bi-conical springs, back with laces, if extra hide.
Standard packaging 1 pc.
