Formafantasma's work stems from a long research in the company's historical archive that led them to work more on two decorative elements developed by Aldo Londi, who among the various experiments sometimes roughly cut the clay slabs with a thread of iron, and cooked the pieces without making further finishes.

On the occasion of the Salone del Mobile 2018 three historical pieces of Londi will be unveiled, re-edited and presented both in the two original colors and in a third color, very clear shiny lilac, specially chosen by Formfantasma for the re-edition.

Together with the re-editions, the Italian designer duo also presents the Clay collection, composed of cylindrical vases created on the lathe, to which the top is subsequently torn. This process generates cracks and imperfections on the edges of each single piece of the collection, also presented in two variants: a variant characterized by more traditional glossy finishes, and a second variant in three opaque glazes, a tactile finish similar to industrial rubber
