Grandi Ceramiche is the name of the latest collection by Nathalie Du Pasquier, created and developed for the exhibition “Other Rooms” held in September 2017 at the Camden Arts Centre in London and dedicated to the work of Nathalie Du Pasquier. The collection then turned into an artisanal industrial production, perfectly in line with the type of projects that Bitossi has focused on for over a century. After many years away from the world of ceramics, Du Pasquier approached the project starting from a series of recent constructions in wood which were developed into seven abstract forms, aligned as physical alter egos of the abstract drawings and paintings that characterise the artist’s work.
The geometry of these shapes is created in ceramics by lathe turning and comprises elements of different colours.
