The new Bitossi Collection, between Art & Design

Born in 1957, Nathalie Du Pasquier is a French designer with a strong artistic side. Before designing products, it is in fact a painter who - with her unmistakable stroke - gives life to objects with a unique personality. Over the years, he has customized furniture, fabrics, clothes, jewelry; he created countless works, dedicating his life to painting and art. Today, Nathalie Du Pasquier signs for Bitossi Ceramiche a collection of exclusive sculptures and vases, turned by hand with elements in white earth casting and with matt white, brown, black, red, green and blue glazes. Hovering between play and geometry, its products - limited edition - are perfect for giving personality to monochromatic environments, or to enrich their collection of precious pieces. But how was this collection born in Nathalie? Initially, the objects were designed for the exhibition "Other Rooms" at the Camden Arts Center in London: the success that the exhibition had, however, pushed the artist to make an industrial production, even in his craft, transforming those that in They were wooden buildings in a collection of seven abstract and aligned forms, the physical alter ego of the abstract paintings that characterize his work.

But it is not, that of Nathalie Du Pasquier, the only new collection that Bitossi Home has recently launched on the market. From the collaboration with Formafantasma - the study of the young Simone Farresin and Andrea Trimarchi, who are just about thirty years old, are already stars of international design - a line of vases "with tears" was born, presented at the Salone del Mobile 2018. , to tell the truth, a novelty in the true sense of the term: it is instead the result of a long research work in the company's historical archive, resulting in the reinterpretation of three historical pieces by Aldo Londi who - in the past - experimented with cutting the clay slabs using a wire. Today, his work is more current than ever. And the re-edition of Formafantasma has already started towards success.
