Isamu Noguchi

Isamu Noguchi - (Los Angeles 17 November 1904 - 30 December 1988) was an important Japanese artist and landscape architect whose artistic career spanned six decades, starting in 1920.
Known as a sculptor of public works, Noguchi has also designed lamps and furniture, some of which are still produced and sold.

In 1948 with George Nelson, Paul László and Charles Eames joined for the realization of a catalog for Herman Miller that contains what is considered as the most influential instrument of modern furniture.
