GENERAL INFORMATIONS

Who are you?

Our offices are located in Via Fermi, 1, 53036 Poggibonsi, among the hills of the province of Siena, in the beautiful Tuscany, Italy! Basically, we are a team of people who are passionate about their work and who, with experience and professionalism, are ready to advise you on the most suitable complement for your home and to follow your order through to delivery. We really like customers to contact us, that way we have the possibility to add information or details that sometimes are difficult to convey only with the product card....so... we are waiting for you, you can write an e-mail, call the office, on our mobile, on whatsapp or on chat!

Do you have a shop or a showroom where I can physically see your products before purchasing them?

Our e-commerce business is conducted exclusively online. We therefore do not have a real shop with a show room. In any case, for Arte & Design branded products we can organise, by appointment, a visit to our warehouse in order to show you the product and possibly evaluate the various finishes we offer.

Can you help me with a furnishing consulting service?

If you need to furnish premises for your business or you want to realize a project, our Architect will meet your needs by providing a professional interior design service that can range from a simple furnishing consulting to the realization of a complete intervention, including the necessary administrative procedures (for Italy only)

Can you send me samples of the covers?

No problem for the shipment of covering or finishing samples. Contact us by email on info@italiandesigncontract.com or by phone on +39 0577 985801 and we will send them as soon as possible.

Can I buy if I have a VAT number?

Sicherlich! Für Kunden mit Wohnsitz in EWG-Ländern, die eine internationale Umsatzsteuer-Identifikationsnummer haben, wird der Verkaufspreis um den zum Zeitpunkt der Bestellung gültigen italienischen Mehrwertsteuersatz reduziert.

Do you apply any discounts for big quantities?

How can I apply a discount code?

If you have a discount code received by email or by subscribing to our newsletter, simply write it at the time of the order, during the check-out, in the "Coupon Code" field just before the "COMPLETE ORDER" button, and check that the discount has been applied correctly before submitting the order. Do you need a minimum order?

For some items there is a minimum order (for example, 2 or 4 pieces) for packaging and storage needs. If you need different quantities, please contact us by email at info@italiandesigncontract.com

How can I choose the finishes and/or the covers I want?

On each product sheet there are the finishes available for online purchase so that you can choose the desired model and options, which are also always specified in the product description. By selecting the options, the corresponding price will appear. For some finishes and coverings, please specify the colours and codes in the "Order Notes" field before proceeding to payment.

Is the payment by credit card safe?

SHIPMENT

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes! Shipping costs for most products are automatically added when ordering as soon as the delivery address field is filled in and the destination country is selected.

For some products, you will find the shipping calculation function directly on the product sheet, even before you place your order.

For destinations such as the United States and Canada, or other countries where there is no automatic calculation of transport costs, once the order has been completed and without proceeding to payment, we will automatically receive an email requesting a quote.

We will reply to you very quickly informing you of the transport cost and you can decide whether to proceed with the order.

Is shipping included in the product price?

For most products, shipping costs are NOT included in the product price and are indicated automatically when you check out your order, but before proceeding with payment.

On products for which we offer free shipping, this is clearly indicated on the product preview and on the product page itself, immediately after the price. The countries for which we can offer free delivery are also listed on the page.

However, the purchase is only considered finalised once payment has been received.

Do you deliver to upper floors or disadvantaged areas?

The shipping service refers to products delivered to ground floor / front door of the given address.

For delivery to upper floors / basements; delivery in town centres; express deliveries; urgent deliveries; deliveries with deadlines; delivery by appointment; special deliveries. Delivery to disadvantaged areas, remote areas; minor islands, Venice and Livigno, there is an extra charge and will be successively communicated by email.

What are the shipping times?

Delivery times are indicated on each product sheet, but may vary depending on material availability and production times.

The expected production time will be indicated on the ORDER CONFIRMATION that we will send by E-MAIL.

Let us know immediately at the time of ordering in case you have special requirements or urgencies and we will evaluate them with our carriers.

How can I know when I will receive my order?

When the product is shipped, we always send an e-mail with contact details and/or a link to track the shipment and delivery of the order.

However, we are always available for special needs or requests from you. Feel free to write us at info@italiandesigncontract.com and we will help you to stay up-to-date and track your shipment.

RETURNS AND WARRANTIES

Do I have a warranty on the products I buy?

All our products are covered by a 2-year European-wide warranty for all conformity defects.

All Arte & Design S.r.l. branded products will be accompanied by our certificate referring to the warranty and the quality control code carried out before the goods are shipped.

Arte & Design S.r.l. guarantees that the goods sold conform to the declared characteristics and are suitable for the use for which the item is to be used.

Can I return a product?

You have the right to return the purchased goods and to receive a refund (excluding transport charges) without being in any way penalized and without specifying the reason for the withdrawal. In order to exercise this right, you should send a registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt to Arte & Design Srl within 10 days of receipt of the goods from the Courier.

Goods must be returned intact, unused, unaltered, free of stains, dry, and undamaged. The single-use seal and internal packaging should be intact as these constitute an integral part of the goods.
All costs for the return of goods, without exceptions, shall be borne by the client.

And if the goods I receive have been damaged?

We choose our carriers carefully to make sure that the goods receive the best possible treatment during transport and thus guarantee that the products arrive perfectly intact. Furthermore, all our products travel with insurance against possible transport damage.

However, in the unfortunate event that damage is found due to transport, please report the damage on the transport document and send an email immediately or at the latest within 5 days of receipt of the goods to: info@italiandesigncontract.com, indicating the number of the transport document or invoice, code, quantity of the damaged items and the nature of the damage.

IMPORTANT: With regard to the delivery of particularly fragile products such as tables, armchairs and bulky furnishings, it is absolutely necessary to inspect the goods upon delivery and report any damage on the transport document in order to open the insurance file.

All transport costs for replacement, both those for the return of damaged goods and those for replacement, shall be borne by Arte & Design S.r.l.. The replacement of the goods shall take place in the shortest possible time.
