THE KING'S CUCKOO - the story of how the first cuckoo clock was born
Irene Guerrieri, drawing her inspiration from the story The King's Cuckoo by Fabio Fiorini, has designed four cuckoo clocks that look like a small box with two doors that open like a theatre proscenium onto which the protagonists of the story face: the cockerel, the magpie, the blackbird and the cuckoo.
When the doors are opened, the cuckoo sings cheerfully every full hour, but when the doors are closed, the cuckoo goes back to sleep. Included in the package is a booklet with the entire illustrated story.
Looking at the pictures of the characters, listening to the cuckoo and reading the fairy tale will be a joy not only for children.
