Salone del Mobile 2022: our favourite trends

The 60th edition of the Salone del Mobile heralded an atmosphere of great enthusiasm and indeed this is the mood we breathed in the halls. The desire to astonish and move forward was the red line that united all the exhibitors.
Here is a selection of the brands that impressed us most:
  • Pedrali proposed a real walk through the new #newhorizons collection. As we walked through the stand, we came across many new products: furniture and furnishing accessories for indoor and outdoor spaces. Among these were: Blume System, modular but sturdy; Souvenir Chair, minimal but representative of the Parisian context from which it took its inspiration; Reva Cocoon, symbol of the collection's outdoor imprint; Hevea, original and versatile; Jeff, capable of changing the fortunes of any environment.
  • Bitossi has prepared a colourful stand combining the iconic beauty of great classics such as Aldo Londi's Rimini Blu collection, whose bright colour is impossible not to notice; with innovative and proposed items such as the Formafantasma and Undercover collections.
  • Bosa Ceramiche has created a minimalist stand that allows one to focus entirely on the products, which are full of details. Notable among these are the Baile and Theatro Hayon collections.
  • Calligaris Group presented both its core collections and those of its brands such as Connubia and Fatboy. The lowest common denominator of the group's products is the focus on sustainability in both the materials used and the production processes. The presence of its different brands manages to satisfy the needs of very different customers.
It is impossible to pass up a visit to the stands of the biggest design brands such as Vitra and Edra, whose experience and innovation always manage to surprise and set trends.
