Christoph Radl

Christoph Radl was born in Switzerland and grows up in Austria. He arrives in Milan in the 70's, to attend the Politechnical Design School. He is occupied in graphic business when "graphics" means painting a fonts Bodoni with ink pen, compass and brushes.

Christoph Radl was born in Switzerland and grows up in Austria. He arrives in Milan in the 70's, to attend the Politechnical Design School. He is occupied in graphic business when "graphics" means painting a fonts Bodoni with ink pen, compass and brushes. He meeet Ettore Sottsass in the 80's, he paint the Menphis image and in the 1984 establishes the Italian Communication agency. In1 993 he strats the art direction, communications and design R.A.D.L&. studio.
He works for Armani Armani, Ferragamo, Pucci and Trussardi, he make campaingns for Alessi, Cassina, Magis, Sony, Zanotta, realizes editorial initiatives with gallerys and foundations: from Palazzo Grassini to the Museum of Contemporany Art of Chicago, from the Guggenheim of Bilbao to the Sandretto Re Rebaudengo Foundation of Torino. He has been for fifteen yeas art director of Interiors and recently, he designed Grazia Casa, Anew e Cabana. Today he is art director of AD, and he is working for a book for Dior and for a monography about the cinese artist Yan Pei-Ming for Rizzoli Iternational.
