Matteo Giarrè was born in Florence and graduated in Industrial Design at the Faculty of Architecture.

After an important work experience at Isao Hosoe design studio in Milan, he decided to go freelance, collaborating as a tableware designer for various companies and individuals in the Catering, Hospitality and Home sectors.

Since 2013, he has been teaching Industrial Design at Laba, Libera Accademia di Belle Arti in Florence. He has been teaching as a food designer for the Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts.

His research and analysis of people's habits, behaviour and life scenarios is a method for finding new product solutions.
