Max Lamb (born 1980) is a British designer who combines traditional - if not prehistoric - design methods with contemporarydesign. He is known for employing highly unusual approaches to using natural materials, including pouring pewter onto sand and volcanic rock. With the Wiggle project that he conceived for Bitossi Ceramiche he has developed a new manufacturing technique using an old tool by wire cutting slabs of clay and constructing box-like vessels from the cut slabs.
