The multicultural designer Tom Kelley was born in East Germany. Due to political problems, he moved west in the mid-1970s. He studied in Aachen, Munich and Long Beach, California, before moving to Venice in the late 1990s.

He now boasts collaborations with companies in Germany, Austria, the Czech Republic, Japan, the USA, the Netherlands, Turkey and Indonesia.
A passionate designer, his creations follow the theory of 'less is more'.
