Arabesk is a special armchair that breaks away from all conventions to become a true sculpture, a work of art. It is no coincidence that its creator Folke Janson has experimented with his art through sculpture, ceramics and painting.

Our armchair flew to Norway to celebrate an important birthday.

The birthday woman had been photographed by Janson as a child in the 1960s and her husband wanted to surprise her with a unique and special gift.

They say diamonds are a woman's best friend, but armchairs can play their part too!
