Fred and Ginger 2585/2587 - umbrella stand
Designer: Bruna Rapisarda
Fred and ginger were born from a question that designer Bruna Rapisarda asked herself: can the umbrella stand, this object that is only used a few days a year and is always there to occupy space, become a decorative furnishing object? The solution was to combine the umbrella stand with the function of hanging and separating. Fred, the taller one, flatly answers the question. Ginger, the shorter one, which only has the function of an umbrella stand, on the other hand, becomes a star object in any home or office. Both designs have a distinctly decorative character. The colours are based on colour scales of burgundy or green or white and grey. Made of water-repellent wood and plastic, they are painted with non-toxic paints.
