MORANDI - glass legume pot
Designer Piercarlo Crachi
- 100% Made in Italy -
The Morandi glass legume pot is the ideal product for cooking legumes in the flask. It can also be used as a beautiful design object to decorate your home. Dedicated to Giorgio Morandi, the great late 19th century post-impressionist futurist painter who always painted bottles in his room where he lived all his life. Bottles similar to each other but different in colour: soft, chalky, with magical, almost hypnotic shapes, depending on the emotions and moods of this great artist. His archetype is rooted in the shapes of Etruscan and then ancient Roman bottles, all the way to the Middle Ages. Use for 6 people (400g of pulses).
Material: 3.3 borosilicate glass and natural cork
Dimensions: 188x143 mm
Standard equipment: n.1 mouth-blown borosilicate glass legume bowl, n.1 natural cork stopper for food use with borosilicate glass vent tube, n.1 flame spreading net, plastic funnel for loading previously soaked vegetables, n.1 ladle for tasting vegetables during cooking in blown glass
The legume bin can be used with any type of legumes. We recommend checking the state of cooking as it can vary from legume to legume. However, do not exceed 400 g of pulses and 1.2 L of water and always keep the flame at a minimum throughout the cooking time, which must be slow and constant.
