Collection "Icons" born from an idea of Simona Cardinetti and Christoph Schnug taking and reinterpreting iconic shapes from the archive Manifattura Nuoveforme. The shapes of these objects, conceived by Alvino Bagni and Remo Buti between the 1950s and the early 1980s, immediately struck the two designers for their surprising contemporaneity. Contaminations of urban architecture, animal subjects, playful forms and archetypes inspired the shapes of these objects. The Cardinetti / Schnug duo decided to revisit the original subjects, applying a new colour code that restores the freshness and modernity of the original pieces. The new colours and combinations that the two designers have studied for these objects emphasise the original expressive power of these forms.

PACKAGING: For this collection it has been decided to use only natural and completely recyclable materials. Therefore, simple crumpled paper is used to protect the object and a recycled OSB wood box is used as the box. The packaging can also be reused as a container with a view to giving it a second life, rather than letting it enter the waste disposal cycle. Our aim is to contribute to a more sustainable world, with a vision of a circular economy.
