This decoration has been a classic motif in the history of Alvino Bagni/ Nuoveforme since the early 1970s, when it was conceived by Alvino Bagni, who also designed and made a special piece of equipment to execute this decoration to perfection.
The Riccio is an incredible combination of geometric decoration and complexity of execution combined with linearity and rigour.
50 years after its creation, we thought of launching a new project, which was conceived as a sort of competition with neither winners nor losers, in which designers were asked to reinterpret the Riccio model with few restrictions and limitations on freedom of expression.

PACKAGING: We have chosen to use only natural and completely recyclable materials for our collection. We have therefore used ironed paper to protect our objects and
we chose a simple corrugated cardboard box as the box. The packaging can be reused as
as a container in the home and we like to think of the possibility of giving our packaging a second life rather than having it re-enter the huge global waste cycle. With our packaging we try to contribute to a more sustainable product system, with the vision of the circular economy
